This seal was first seen on the beach in front of our remote cottage located in North Arm. Once it saw us the seal went into the water and was gone. Later that day when we were crossing the river, we spotted the seal again bathing on the rocks. It was about 600 meters up river from the ocean. We have been beach-combing for many years and we love the exploration. Remote areas where people once lived are our favourite places to visit. My two sons just love the ocean and they spend many hours treasure hunting along the beaches. For all of us it is, and has always has been our way of life.
